Paris

Lyon
This Medieval city sits on the confluence of the Rhone and Saone Rivers. Gastronomy is held in high esteem in Lyon, taste cuisines that will delight you in any of the numerous restaurants known as “bouchons” found in Lyon. Two Roman built amphitheaters, age old cobblestone streets, a part of this city will take you aback, right into the ages. Marseille
This old southern port city owns an ideal leisure port, from restaurants, hotels, boutiques and cafes, the port has all it takes to make it a soothing relaxation spot.
Also, when in this city, you must visit the noble Notre-Dame de la Garde, a gorgeous basilica overlooking the city. The rocky Parc national des Calanques on the south coast is a great hiking spot, one for the fit ones as it also serves a refreshing Mediterranean view.
Strasbourg
Capital to the Alsace region, Strasbourg is divided into several islands by the Ill river, on which you can cruise around the city in boats. This city has pledged allegiance to nearby Germany in the past, so there is a lot in common to the German culture. The Grande Ile (large island) is the perfect point to start your tour from. Architecture here is gothic, notably the Strasbourg cathedral and modern.
Bordeaux
The city of Bordeaux, known as port of the moon is a UNESCO-listed city. The terrain is fairly level and there are secured routes which makes it a bicycle friendly city. Find the world’s largest reflecting pool, Miroir d’Eau in this city. The 3,450 square meter glassy floor is an ultimate hangout place for the entire family. Food in Bordeaux is mouthwatering. The Oysters in this port city is known as one of the best worldwide.
Montpellier
Montpellier, a city located in the south Mediterranean region of France, is architecture on display. There is a lot to snap in this city and your camera might just come in handy when jaunting through here. Montpellier also derives a vivid nightlife from its fairly large student populace.
